Establishment and Operation of PGH Laboratory Collection Points in Peshawar

Peshawar General Hospital (PGH) invites proposals from eligible firms/organizations for establishing and operating PGH Laboratory Collection Points in District Peshawar. Detailed proposals must be submitted at the address mentioned in the advertisement within the prescribed submission deadline.

Terms & Conditions

  • The collection point shall operate solely under the Peshawar General Hospital’s Laboratory brand.
  • The bidder shall provide patient registration, specimen collection and home sample collection
  • The bidder shall provide a dedicated collection point with a minimum covered area of 10 feet × 14 feet (140 sq. ft.).
  • The premises shall include a separate waiting area, a dedicated sample collection desk and at least one clean and functional washroom for patients
  • All the regulatory compliances shall be the responsibility of the Bidder
  • The facility shall have uninterrupted electricity, backup power, internet connectivity, refrigeration for specimen storage, adequate lighting, ventilation/air-conditioning and CCTV surveillance.
  • All laboratory investigations shall be performed exclusively at the designated PGH Main Laboratory
  • The bidder shall ensure biomedical waste segregation and disposal in accordance with applicable laws.
  • The bidder shall deploy qualified laboratory phlebotomists/technicians, reception staff and adequate specimen transport personnel.
  • The bidder shall ensure temperature-controlled transportation, barcode tracking and chain-of-custody for specimens
  • PGH will provide consumables like Alcohol Swab, Sani Plast, Test tubes and butterfly/Syringe.
  • The bidder shall be given access to PGH HMIS for test entry and result collection.
  • The bidder shall maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable laws, biosafety and quality standards.
  • The bidder shall submit a detailed technical proposal including implementation plan, staffing, equipment, quality assurance and sample transportation arrangements.
  • The bidder shall submit a separate financial proposal indicating revenue-sharing, investment and operating costs.
  • PGH will physically visit and inspect the collection point(s) before the signing of Agreement.
  • Pricing, branding and promotional activities shall be subject to prior written approval of PGH.
  • The successful bidder shall execute the Agreement, Service Level Agreement (SLA), confidentiality undertaking and other documents required by PGH before commencement of services.
  • PGH reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason
  • Successful bidder must submit a Security Amount of Rs. 200,000/- in the name of Peshawar General Hospital before signing the contract.
  • The successful bidder must undertake to indemnify Peshawar General Hospital against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with the bidder's acts, omissions or performance under the Agreement.
