World Nurses Day 2026

Peshawar General Hospital celebrated Nurses Day with great respect and appreciation for the dedication, compassion, and exceptional services of its nursing staff towards patient care and humanity.

The event was organized by the Nursing Department and graced by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Malik Javed Iqbal, CEO Hospital, along with Mr. Syed Yousaf Shah, Nursing Principal of Northwest General Hospital. Mr. Amir Khisro, Hospital Administrator, appreciated the hard work, professionalism, and commitment of the nurses while also highlighting the importance of addressing existing gaps to further improve the quality of healthcare services.

Shields and certificates were presented to outstanding nurses in recognition of their remarkable performance throughout the year, and a special shield was also awarded to Senior Manager Administration, Mr. Muhammad Bilal Khan, in appreciation of his continuous support, dedication, and strong commitment in facilitating the Nursing Department through ongoing improvements and required organizational changes.
