Biography
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Tahir is one of Pakistan’s most distinguished Plastic, Cosmetic, and Burns Surgeons, with over 41 years of surgical experience. Widely recognized as a pioneer of Burns and Plastic Surgery in the region, he has played a transformative role in the development of modern burn care, reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery services. Throughout his illustrious career, he has combined clinical excellence with visionary leadership, serving as Head and Professor of Plastic Surgery at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Director of Burns & Plastic Surgery, Dean and Founder of Nowshera Medical College, and Chief Executive of Hayatabad Medical Complex/KGMC. His contributions have significantly advanced the standards of plastic and burns surgery, medical education, and healthcare administration in Pakistan.
