Biography

Dr. Momin Salahuddin graduated with honors from Khyber Medical College, where he consistently received merit scholarships for his outstanding performance in professional examinations. After completing his House Jobs in medicine and surgery at Khyber Teaching Hospital, he pursued further education in the United Kingdom starting in 2001. He successfully passed MRCP-1 and was selected by the Royal College of Physicians for advanced training, leading to his membership in the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2004.

Dr. Momin Salahuddin gained extensive clinical, teaching, and administrative experience while working in various hospitals across the UK. He began his registrar position in Cardiology at Russell’s Hall Hospital, Birmingham, in 2004, where he was affiliated with the University Hospital Birmingham for invasive cardiology. Later, he transitioned to St. George’s Hospital in London, a leading cardiology center, to further his experience in invasive cardiology. Subsequently, he enhanced his interventional cardiology skills at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester, another tertiary level cardiology hospital.

In recognition of his expertise, Dr. Momin Salahuddin was awarded FRCP by the Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow, in 2013. He also serves as a supervisor for the FCPS (Cardiology) Training Program under CPSP (Pakistan).

Dr. Momin Salahuddin’s primary area of interest lies in Interventional Cardiology, and he possesses substantial training and experience in implanting various types of Pacemakers.
