Biography
Dr. Khalid Mahmood’s impressive medical career commenced in 1987 with his graduation from Khyber Medical College. Following this, he embarked on postgraduate training at Khyber Teaching Hospital, culminating in his fellowship (FCPS) in 1992. Driven by a desire to broaden his expertise, Dr. Mahmood spent the subsequent three years working as a registrar in various UK hospitals. This enriching experience culminated in his acquisition of the prestigious MRCP certification from the RCP London in 1995. Upon returning to Pakistan, he briefly served as a District Specialist before venturing to Saudi Arabia.
There, Dr. Mahmood further refined his skills as a Consultant Physician at a renowned hospital for three years. In 2001, he joined Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Over the next two decades, Dr. Mahmood made significant contributions to LRH, holding various teaching and administrative positions.
