Biography
Dr. Mamoona Riffat is a highly experienced and accomplished obstetrician and gynecologist with over 30 years of dedicated service in women’s health. Renowned for her expertise in managing complex obstetric cases and treating infertility through Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), she has significantly contributed to both clinical care and surgical advancements in gynecology. Her core specialties include laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, pelvic floor reconstruction, and the treatment of urological gynecological conditions.
After earning her MBBS from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 1988, Dr. Riffat completed her FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) in 1993. She began her professional journey as a Consultant Gynecologist at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), both renowned tertiary care centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Following this, she served as In-charge of the Gynecology Unit at a district hospital for 14 years, where she managed a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynecological procedures while mentoring junior doctors in both clinical and administrative aspects of care.
