Dr. Anwar Kamal Pasha is the Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology at Peshawar General Hospital. With a career spanning nearly three decades, he brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience in anesthesiology and pain medicine.

He completed his MBBS from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in 1994, followed by a Diploma in Anaesthesia from the Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute in 2000. He further advanced his qualifications with MCPS in Anesthesiology (2005), FCPS in Anesthesiology (2010), and an MSc in Pain Medicine from Riphah International University, Islamabad in 2018.

Dr. Anwar retired from the Pakistan Army in 2019 and has since held senior roles across several reputable hospitals. He served as Head of Anesthesia Department at Ali Medical Center, Islamabad (2019–2021), Shamshad Aslam Hospital, Wah Cantt (2021–2022), and as Senior Consultant Anesthesia at Hamid Latif Hospital, Lahore (2022–2023). Since July 2023, he has been serving at Peshawar General Hospital. He is also a registered supervisor in Anesthesiology with the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
